On September 16, 2006 two turtles were satellite tagged on Sangalaki. Whereas one moved as far as Brunei, the other turtle has returned to Sangalaki several times recently.

Re: Sangalaki - interesting results from satellite tagged turtles
I'm not surprised the turtles didn't travel together. It is very likely that the turtles that nest on Sangalaki come from several different feeding grounds, maybe from as far away as Australia and the Philippines. It would be wonderful to do more satellite tagging, and even genetic studies to get more information.
